The Connection Network
Haiti: Educating for the Work Force, Connecting to the World
Vision Statement:
Their goal is to educate Haitians who live in poverty with no chance of a college education, through sending them to a national trade school to learn a trade (i.e. accounting, computer programming, business), then assist them with job placement in their own country, thus assisting them out of poverty.
History
Since 1999 The Connection Network, formerly Haiti for the Kids, has been educating Haitian young people from elementary school through college. After seeing a desperate need for higher education in areas such as computers and accounting, they began a process of selecting canidates for the program and walking them through each step of the education process. Upon graduation with a trade school diploma, the Connection Network assists the graduates with placement including resume writing, interview skills and business communication.

Hello,
I would like to get more details on how your program works. I would like to refer a friend to your program who is currently living in Haiti and is looking to enroll himself in college. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank You

This sounds like an awesome ministry. I’m amazed at how many ministries there are in Haiti. Seems like I’m hearing of a new one every year. It is also cool to see all of the partners.
